The basic system is a level chamber with adjusted tank volume. The level
chamber is connected to a pressure gauge through a capillary tube. When the
liquid rises in the level chamber, the air will be compressed and a counterpressure
will prevent the liquid to go into the capillary system. The static pressure
in the system will now be the same as the liquid column in the tank. This construction
ensures that the gauge not will be in touch with the tank fl uid.
The level chamber can be mounted inside or outside the tank. For mounting
outside the tank, a drain plug can be delivered.
